Breakfast of Champions
The Pacifica Sports Club honored several community athletes on Saturday with its annual Breakfast of Champions Awards at the Pacifica Moose Lodge. Outstanding student-athletes from local high schools for the 2021-2022 school year were recognized. Recipients this year are, from left, front row: Lara Flavia Scanziani, Oceana High School; Sierra Pelleriti, Terra Nova High School; and Amanda Diaz, Pacific Bay Christian School. Back row: Austin Chung, Pacific Bay Christian School; Dyland Sanford, Oceana High School; Francesco Argueta, Menlo School; and Jack Gillen, Terra Nova High School. Not pictured: Severa Brawn, Mercy Burlingame High School. This was the 38th year that the Pacifica Sports Club has been honoring Pacifica athletes.
