Remembering and honoring Robbie Artiga who died at age 53. He was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, and was the beloved son of the late Antonio Artiga, and Analicia and Jose Minguela. Growing up, Robbie lived in Pacifica, attended Good Shepherd School and graduated from Serra High School in 1987. He met his dream girl, Carmen, in 1988 and was graced with a loving marriage and blessed with three wonderful children: Danny (1990), Alex (1992) and Amanda (1997). In 1999, Robbie and his family left the Bay Area and moved to El Dorado County. Years later, a job opportunity followed and they moved to Modesto, and for the past five years Robbie and his family resided in Elk Grove, Calif.
Robbie was full of life, had a generous heart and lived life passionately. He was loyal, brilliant and had an incredible work ethic. He worked hard and appreciated the finer things in life. Robbie was dapper, had style and was quite the wine connoisseur. He had a flair for design and making things beautiful. His home reflected his creativity. His backyard is cozy and charming where he loved to barbecue, cook, entertain, and share his knowledge of wine while listening to his Latin music. Robbie loved all sports: You could find him in the “grandstands” of his living room cheering for the 49ers with his treasured boys, family, and friends.
