Frederica Maria Siebert Ware

Longtime Pacifica resident Frederica Maria Siebert Ware, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, teacher, and friend, passed away peacefully Oct. 3, 2021, at age 74, in Oakland, Calif. The wife of the late Garrett Dobson Ware, Fredi was mother to Nicholas (deceased), Monica, Justin, and Donovan, and grandmother to Tatsuya, Toshiki,Violet, and Daphne.

Fredi was born in 1946 in San Francisco and spent the majority of her life in Pacifica with her parents Robert and Emma Siebert and sisters Andrea Siebert and Ramona Della Santina. She lived with her husband and children on Seaside Drive for many years before relocating to Berkeley. A beloved teacher at Ocean Shore Elementary and Oceana High School, Fredi was also a teaching aide at the Alternative School when it was located at Vallemar and Cabrillo schools. She worked for the Pacifica Parks, Beaches and Recreation Department, and was very active throughout her life with Pacificans Care and local politics.

Her family is planning a memorial service at a later date, and details will be made available at frediwarememorial.org. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Pacificans Care.
