Agencies offer chipping service

The North County Fire Authority and city of Pacifica will continue working to mitigate wildfire risk in the coming weeks with the help of a Coastal Conservancy grant.

The Pacifica Vegetation Reduction Chipping Program selects areas in the Linda Mar, Park Pacifica, Vallemar, Pedro Point and Rockaway neighborhoods and provides chipping services for residents who pile up unwanted vegetation.

Today, chipping will take place in Linda Mar and Park Pacifica neighborhoods. Later this week, the program moves on to Pedro Point and next week it will be in Vallemar and Rockaway Beach.
