The ongoing trail work and habitat restoration of Mori Point — one of the newest sites in the Golden Gate National Recreation Area — was celebrated at a community event Saturday. The event included public thanks to the community and Mori Point "partners" and a tribute to the late Congressman Tom Lantos. Among the guests were GGNRA Park Superintendent Brian O'Neill. Community members got a close up look at a San Francisco garter snake and enjoyed walking tours of the property.
